Duda noted that after the expansion of the alliance, Russia's border with NATO will increase by 1.4 thousand km.

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin said that Russia would be forced to mirror the possible deployment of NATO military infrastructure in Finland and Sweden after the countries join the alliance.

He said that Moscow is not concerned about the entry of Helsinki and Stockholm into the North Atlantic Alliance. 

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov commented on the situation with Finland's plans to join NATO.
