This was reported by Parliamentary Gazeta with reference to a statement by Deputy Minister of Health Yevgeny Kamkin at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Health Protection.

He recalled that according to the changes made to the programs "Zemsky doctor" and "Zemsky paramedic" in April of this year by a government decree, the right to a one-time compensation payment was given to health workers who were employed in medical organizations located in their places of residence - rural settlements, workers' settlements , urban-type settlements or cities with a population of up to 50 thousand people.

According to Kamkin, these changes will help attract more than 6,000 specialists to participate in the programs this year, more than 4,000 of them are doctors, and about 2,000 are nurses.

Earlier, Yantarny Krai, referring to the words of the Minister of Social Policy Anzhelika Meister, said that since the beginning of the year, 650 people have moved to the Kaliningrad region as part of a state program to promote the voluntary resettlement of citizens living abroad.
