According to the document called the report on the results of the investigation deliberation committee obtained by SBS, the Coast Guard only received the opinions of three external members and two internal members in writing instead of a meeting for two days from the 2nd of last month.

Considering the seriousness of the case of the attack on the West Sea, it is unusual for a meeting to be replaced in writing.

In addition, although the result of the deliberation is to be decided by the attendance of a majority of the members and the approval of a majority of the members present, even the advisory effect of the resolution does not take effect because the attendance itself does not take place.

The Coast Guard explained, "We have considered the Corona situation and the schedule of external members, and there is no problem because there is no rule stating that the Investigation Deliberation Committee cannot be replaced in writing."

The TF of the Democratic Party's West Sea public official's death case plans to visit the Incheon Maritime Police Agency tomorrow (the 5th) and request a fact-finding investigation into the written alternative.
