“This is not an independent decision of the acting prime minister, who has an absolutely open, unambiguous pro-American orientation, is ready to fulfill any wishes of his sovereign,” Lavrov said at a press conference.

According to him, the wish of the sovereign is to kill the historical memory in the Bulgarians and destroy the foundation of relations with Russia.

He noted that such a policy of Washington applies not only to Bulgaria.

Earlier it became known that Bulgaria is expelling 70 Russian diplomats and technical workers of the Russian embassy.

Before that, the parliament of the republic announced a vote of no confidence in the coalition government headed by Petkov, who later stated that three Bulgarian politicians and the Russian ambassador in Sofia were allegedly involved in this.
