Izvestia: cosmetics and household chemicals were asked to be excluded from parallel imports

The Izvestia newspaper writes about this with reference to a letter from Rusbrand sent to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

It is noted that foreign companies in these areas continue to manufacture these goods in Russia or independently supply them by direct import.

In particular, we are talking about such brands as Nivea, Rexona, Axe, Shamtu, Gliss Kur, Shauma, Syoss, Pure Line, One Hundred Beauty Recipes, Vanish, Cillit, Domestos, Dosia, Tiret, Nescafe, Nespresso and others.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law providing for the legalization of parallel imports.

The law protects Russian companies that import goods without the permission of the right holder from possible civil, administrative and criminal liability.

In May, the Ministry of Industry and Trade approved the list of goods allowed for parallel imports.
