Three people were killed and four others were injured in a shooting at a large shopping mall in the Danish capital of northern Europe.

Local police, who arrested a 22-year-old man at the scene, are investigating the specific motive for the crime.

The shooting took place at Fields Mall, a large shopping mall between downtown Copenhagen and the airport, yesterday (3rd) around 5:30 pm.



Three shoppers were killed and four were seriously injured in indiscriminate shooting on a leisurely weekend afternoon.

Police are investigating a 22-year-old Danish man who was wearing shorts and carrying a rifle and ammunition at the scene of the incident.

Local police say there are no signs of terrorism yet, and are focusing on the solo crime.

Due to this shooting, a British singer's performance scheduled for last night at a nearby concert was canceled, and the royal reception of the world's top road cycling event, the Tour de France, was also canceled.



The incident comes a week after a mass shooting in neighboring Norway killed two people and wounded 21 others.
