In addition to the new government which should be announced in the coming hours, another much more discreet reshuffle is taking place at the Élysée, among the advisers closest to Emmanuel Macron.

Several positions are to be filled and one question remains: will Alexis Kohler remain secretary general?

While the ministerial reshuffle is imminent, another reshuffle, much more discreet, is also taking place behind the scenes, in particular among advisers close to Emmanuel Macron.

In some rooms of the Élysée Palace, several offices are empty after the departure of many advisers, who have still not been replaced.

A starting wave not finished

The last to leave the Élysée is none other than the pen of the President, Jonathan Guémas, who, at 55, has just left 55 rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré to join Publicis France, the marketing and communication group one of the new leaders of which is none other than the former special adviser to the Head of State, Clément Léonarduzzi, who also left the day after the presidential election.

But this wave of departure is not yet completely over.

Some contracts end in July.

Alexis Kohler in turmoil

But arrivals are obviously planned to replace the starters.

Thus, a new deputy chief of staff, a new agricultural adviser or even a new energy adviser will be appointed in the coming weeks.

But the mystery still persists around the most central post of the Palace: that of the secretary general, Alexis Kohler, who is today under fire from critics within part of the entourage of Emmanuel Macron.
