  Luo Yijun, deputy head of the medical response team of the command center, said that the deceased girl had no chronic diseases. On June 28, the high fever continued to reach 42 degrees. On July 1, she suffered severe hypotensive shock and died after treatment with vasopressors.

  Luo Yijun said that there are currently 83 severe cases of children in Taiwan, 21 deaths, 26 cases of MIS-C (multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children), 22 cases of encephalitis, 16 cases of pneumonia, 8 cases of croup, and 6 deaths before hospitalization. 3 cases of sepsis, 2 cases of comorbidity.
