On June 30, the Red Cross Society of China delivered earthquake relief materials such as tents, folding beds and family bags to Afghanistan through a chartered flight, and provided aid funds to the Afghan Red Crescent Society to help the disaster victims in Afghanistan.

Since the earthquake in Afghanistan, China has tried its best to respond to the needs of others and provided a large amount of humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan in a timely manner.

China is willing to work with Afghanistan to continue to support Afghanistan in overcoming the difficulties caused by the earthquake and make contributions to Afghanistan's independent development.

  Harris said that the Afghan and Chinese people have a deep friendship and a shared destiny, and the Afghan side sincerely appreciates the valuable assistance provided by the Chinese side.

It is hoped that the Red Cross Society of China and the Afghan Red Crescent Society will maintain friendly relations and close ties, and will continue to provide support and assistance to Afghanistan in the fields of economy, science and technology, and medical care.

  On June 22, a strong earthquake struck southeastern Afghanistan, killing more than 1,000 people, injuring nearly 2,000, and destroying tens of thousands of houses.

The Chinese government immediately decided to provide 50 million yuan of emergency humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.

The first batch of supplies including tents, folding beds and blankets arrived in Kabul on the 27th.
