A 49-year-old man, a resident of Pamplona, ​​died tonight after

plunged into the Bidasoa river .

As reported by the Civil Guard, the event occurred around 10:00 p.m. at

kilometer 65.5 of the N-121-A road

, where the vehicle left the road on its left bank and later fell into the river.

In the road accident, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 49-year-old man from Pamplona, ​​died, whose body was rescued from the river

by firefighters

and later transferred to the Pamplona Forensic Anatomical Institute.
