Americans mock Biden's tweet, in which he called on gas stations in his country to "reduce prices immediately"!

US President Joe Biden provoked sarcastic reactions and comments by American activists, after a tweet in which he called on gas stations in his country to reduce gasoline prices after they were significantly expensive.

And Biden tweeted on his account on Twitter yesterday, Saturday, saying: “Reduce the price you charge at gas stations, to reflect the cost you pay for the item, and do it now.”

He added that gas station operators must do so because this is a time of "war" and "global dangers" and the current wave of high prices.

Many responded with great irony to this request, and there were many sarcastic reactions and jokes in their comments on Biden's tweet.

"Thank you for that tweet, Mr. President," greg wrote sarcastically. "All local gas stations around me immediately reduced their prices by $2 because they have your tweet notifications turned on."

Shibetoshi Nakamoto joked, "I showed the tweet to a gas station employee, and he said, 'Why are you showing me this?' I said, 'The president demanded that you take less money from me.' He grinned, but he took the same amount."

And Paul Metzgar sarcastically wrote: "Thank God, I tweeted that. It would definitely work."

It is noteworthy that most of the world's countries suffer from a significant increase in fuel prices due to the high oil price resulting from the repercussions of the war between Russia and Ukraine.

My message to the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump is simple: this is a time of war and global peril.

Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you're paying for the product.

And do it now.
