It is reported by Welt am Sonntag.

Deputy Chairman of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) Jens Spahn made a request to the Ministry of Economics about the share of oil imports from Russia.

It turned out that in May the share of Russian oil imported to Germany was 27.8%.

“Apparently, Habek’s data was more of a spontaneous assessment,” Spahn said.

Earlier, a member of the German Bundestag committee on climate protection and energy, Steffen Kotre, said that the embargo on Russian oil is detrimental to the German economy.
