Kuwait .. The Ministry of Information cancels the permits of 50 electronic newspapers
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Information announced the cancellation of the licenses of 50 electronic newspapers, for violating the provisions of the electronic media regulation law in the country.
According to the Kuwaiti newspaper, “Al-Qabas,” the ministry issued its decision against the 50 newspapers for committing several violations, including exploiting some of the licenses to rent or sell them and give them up without the ministry’s approval, which is a violation of the media law.
The violations also included the failure of some of these newspapers to carry out their activities, while the period of licenses for some expired and they did not request renewal from the ministry.
