According to Mueller, Russia has recently reduced supplies via Nord Stream by 60%.
He expressed the opinion that the reduction is not due to technical problems.
“We are wondering if this technical overhaul will not become a much longer political overhaul,” he said.
In connection with this situation, Muller suggested that gas prices for consumers will rise.
He stressed that the cost may triple, and it is impossible to predict the further development of events.
Mueller warned that amid the crisis, many residents "will be shocked when they receive notifications from suppliers."
Earlier, Nord Stream AG reported that from July 11 to July 21, the Nord Stream gas pipeline will be stopped for scheduled maintenance.
