According to the agency, an employee of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced 4.5 thousand tons of grain on the ship, and on June 30, the office of the Ukrainian Prosecutor General sent a letter to the Turkish Ministry of Justice about the ship with "7 thousand tons of agricultural cargo" going to Karasu.

Earlier, the head of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporozhye region Yevhen Balitsky said that the first merchant ship with 7 thousand tons of grain for friendly countries left the port of Berdyansk.

Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said that Russia guarantees the safety of ships carrying grain from Ukrainian-controlled ports.
