China News Service, July 1. According to the New Zealand Chinese Herald website, from July 31, 2022, application fees and taxes for most visas will increase, according to the New Zealand Immigration Service website.

  The average price of affected immigration services (excluding Electronic Travel Authority (ETA)) rose by $81 (up 43 per cent), with the largest increase for the residency visa category.

  Prices remain competitive with comparable countries, and some visas are subsidized by the government.

  Most visitor visas and some Pacific-facing visas will maintain their current prices.

The skilled immigrant residency visa category is capped at NZ$5000.
