According to the services of the Gard gendarmerie, the individual is accused of having abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot, after violently hitting another car.
According to the soldiers, he is suspected of having driven “at high speed”.
The impact caused an additional accident, involving two other vehicles.
The man was finally "quickly apprehended by road users", pending the arrival of the gendarmes.
Despite the violence of the shock, five people were slightly injured this Friday morning, according to the report communicated by the firefighters.
