China News Service, June 30. According to the WeChat official account of the Chinese Embassy in New Zealand, from now on, the Chinese embassy and consulate in New Zealand will make the following adjustments to the scope of visa acceptance and application requirements for China:

1. Scope of acceptance

  According to the relevant arrangements, the types of visas that can be applied are as follows:

  M visa, F visa, Z visa, S1 visa, S2 visa, Q1 visa, Q2 visa, R visa, C visa

2. Application process

  Visas are only accepted by mail, please follow the following procedures:

  (1) The applicant submits an application

  1. Please use the "Chinese Visa Online Form Filling" system to fill in the "People's Republic of China Visa Application Form".

All applicants (including those holding diplomatic and official passports, excluding applicants for visas from Hong Kong, China and Macau, China) must use the system to fill in the application form online, and sign the printed confirmation page and the application form respectively.

  2. The applicant should mail the required documents for visa application to the embassy or consulate according to the consular district (see below for details).

Please be sure to provide the confirmation page and application form signed by the applicant; at the same time, provide a return envelope or pouch, the postage must be paid, and the recipient's name, return address, and recipient's phone number should be filled in.

  (2) The embassy and consulate examines and issues visas

  The embassy and consulate will review the visa application materials. For the visa application that meets the requirements, the embassy and consulate will issue the corresponding visa and mail it to the applicant.

The embassy or consulate will inform the applicant if the review finds that the mailed materials are incomplete or need to be supplemented.

If the examination fails, the embassy and consulate will mail the original passport and other relevant materials to the applicant.

3. Material requirements (for details, please refer to the website of the embassy and consulate)

  (1) The application form and confirmation page filled in online (to be printed and signed)

  (2) The original passport and a copy of the information page

  (3) 1 photo

  (4) Proof of legal stay or residence in the new country (applicable to citizens of other countries in the new country)

  (5) The original Chinese passport (applicable to those who had Chinese nationality and applied for a visa to China for the first time) or the original Chinese visa (if any)

  (6) New Coronary Pneumonia Vaccination Certificate

  (7) The following types of visa materials:

  (8) Other supporting documents or supplementary materials required by the applicant according to the actual situation.

  4. For diplomatic and official visas, please consult the embassy or consulate by phone or email.

  5. The application for study visa can only be accepted after obtaining the "Visa Application Form for Studying in China" (JW201 or JW202).

  6. Other types of visa applications will not be accepted for the time being.

  7. If the above adjustments are made, they will be released on the website of the embassy and consulate and the WeChat public account. Please pay attention.
