The woman, who is a resident of Mullsjö, has been in custody since May.

On Wednesday, she was remanded in custody at Jönköping District Court and then as a suspect in three more fires.

It is about a fire in May this year and two fires last summer.

One is currently classified as a suspected arson.

- There was a major terrain fire in Nykyrka in July last year and there was, according to information we have, a risk of spreading to property, says chamber prosecutor Emma Harrius to SVT.

Suspected in nine cases

In total, the woman is now in custody for nine different fires in the Mullsjö area.

- Everyone has a similar approach with arson in forests and land, says Emma Harrius.

Prosecution must be filed on July 13 and the prosecutor has high hopes of succeeding.

- I am waiting for some statements from the rescue service, but my hope is to bring charges in two weeks, she says.

The woman has acknowledged some of the fires.
