She noted that the State Committee for Nuclear Regulation of Ukraine is not a member of international associations.

“In view of the foregoing, we do not see any real damage to the Russian side from Ukraine’s withdrawal from the mentioned agreements, since they have already been a kind of dead weight for a long time,” Zakharova said at a briefing.

According to her, the very fact of such actions by the regime of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky "causes, of course, regret."

The Foreign Ministry spokeswoman added that "the fact that the Kyiv regime remains on an extremely destructive path of severing all ties with Russia and destroying the regulatory framework for bilateral relations is reaffirmed."

Zakharova stressed that the blame for this lies entirely with the Ukrainian side and its Western curators.

Earlier, the State Inspectorate for Nuclear Regulation of Ukraine announced that Kyiv was terminating a number of agreements with Moscow in the field of nuclear safety.
