The Ministry of Transport will return money to passengers for canceled flights across Russia from February 24 to July 1

“The refund is compensated for flights from February 24 to July 1, 2022 on domestic routes and from February 24 to October 31, 2022 on international routes,” the ministry said in a statement.

For these purposes, 19.5 billion rubles have been allocated from the government's reserve fund.

Earlier, Ural Airlines extended the cancellation of flights to a number of airports in southern Russia until the end of September.

On May 20, the Russian government allocated more than 1.5 billion rubles to compensate for the operating costs of airports in the south and in the center of Russia.
