“Russia is ready to export tens of millions of tons of its own grain if Western bans are lifted from its export,” she said during a briefing.

Zakharova also stressed that Moscow does not interfere with the export of Ukrainian grain, and also provides daily safe corridors for these purposes. 

The foreign policy spokeswoman added that the West should stop blocking food supplies if it is concerned about the onset of world hunger.

Earlier, the director of the second department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Alexei Polishchuk, said that Kyiv itself was preventing the export of grain from Ukrainian territory.
