“The Government of the Russian Federation, together with the chambers of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, should work out the issues of stimulating the exploration and production of strategic, as well as scarce types of raw materials,” the order says on the Kremlin’s website.
The Cabinet of Ministers was also instructed to implement a set of priority measures to create demand for domestic solid minerals.
It is noted that these measures are necessary to ensure the technological independence and security of Russia.
Earlier, Putin said that Russia is actively reorienting economic flows to reliable partners.
