In total, applications for 24 parks along the Swedish coast are currently being processed along the Swedish coast.

Now the government hopes that wind power will benefit fishing.

But Carl-Åke Wallin, who is a fisherman and chairman of the organization Coastal Fishermen in the Bothnian Sea, is doubtful that wind farms in the Bothnian Sea would have such an effect.

- I'm skeptical, he says.

No evidence of better fishing

Investigators at the Swedish Marine and Water Authority and the fisherman from Rönnskär, outside Stocka, agree that large-scale trawling in a wind farm will be difficult - and so far there is no evidence that the wind turbines could make fishing better.

Negative factors

In addition, there are a number of other negative factors.

It is not known, for example, whether noise from wind turbines can disturb the fish or how the magnetic fields that can occur in connection with electric cables affect.

In the video, the fisherman Carl-Åke Wallin, Kustfiskarna Bottenhavet, gives his view on the matter.
