Forest fire north of Norrköping is water bombed

The fire is 100 times 100 meters in extent and has been water bombed with scooping aircraft from the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB).

- We have surrounded the fire, says Christian Lind, duty officer at the rescue service.

The assessment is that the fire is reasonably under control and that it can be extinguished within four hours, Lind says at 2.30 pm.

- We are close to water, so the conditions are quite good for us, he says.
