“In fact, with its provocative steps, Washington is pushing the Kyiv regime to massacre civilians,” Antonov said.
He added that the irresponsible pumping of weapons into Kyiv raises the threat of further escalation with unpredictable consequences.
Earlier, the White House announced that the United States would supply Ukraine with modern medium and long-range air defense systems.
The new military aid package will also include artillery ammunition and counter-battery radars.
