China News Service, May 13 (Xinhua) According to a statement on the British government website on the 26th, the United Kingdom will allocate 10 million pounds to repair the structure of Ukraine's railways to facilitate grain exports.

On June 26, local time, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson attended the roundtable meeting of the G7 leaders summit.

On the same day, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson called on world leaders to take urgent action at the Group of Seven (G7) leaders' summit to ship food that can meet basic supplies from Ukraine.

"The UK will provide Ukrainian Railways with up to £10 million in materials and equipment to repair rail infrastructure and help Ukraine export grain by rail," said a statement on the UK government's website.

The statement also pointed out that the UK is in close negotiations with the Ukrainian government on how to maximize rail transport capacity, as well as ensure the transportation of trains and food.

After the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the global food crisis further deteriorated.

The United Nations has warned that the world could face its worst food shortage since World War II.

The West launched a public opinion offensive against Russia, frequently accusing Russia of special military operations in Ukraine for triggering a global food crisis.

Earlier this month, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the unfavorable situation in the world food market did not happen overnight.

He also said that Russia has not prevented Ukraine from exporting grain, which can be transported through Black Sea ports and neighboring countries such as Belarus.
