Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzad denied renewed accusations from Tel Aviv of attempts to target Israelis in Turkey and said, "Our response to Israel will be firm and unequivocal, and not by targeting ordinary citizens in a third country," while Iranian Chief of Staff Major General Muhammad Bagheri considered that Israel's membership In the US Central Command a threat to the region.

He stressed that Israel's talk about Iran's efforts to target tourists in Turkey are just lies and fabricated allegations, considering that these allegations are just a play aimed at hitting Tehran's relationship with Ankara.

And the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said earlier this month that Turkish security had arrested Iranian Revolutionary Guard agents who planned to kidnap Israelis last month, after Iran vowed to avenge the assassination of a colonel in the Revolutionary Guards in Tehran on May 22, for which Tehran blamed Israeli agents.

Israel has warned its citizens not to travel to Turkey more than once recently, and Israeli media outlets have published the names of Israeli businessmen, who they said are on the Iranian target list.

But for its part, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement a few days ago, in response to these warnings, that Turkey is a safe country and "continues to fight terrorism inside and outside its borders," and considered that the call to leave Turkey is related to international developments.

Israeli Position

In the context of the escalation, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said that the defense establishment is dealing with what he described as the Iranian threat as the most important and urgent strategic issue for Israel's security at the present time.

He added in a tweet on Twitter that their dealings in this regard are carried out in coordination between the security services, with politicians giving freedom of opinion and decision-making.
