Join a taxi ride to work in the clip.

Maryam Hoseini gets into the taxi half an hour before the work shift begins.

The driver cheers familiarly.

He also drove her to work last week.

When the car rolls, it is towards one of the municipality's nursing homes, which is a few miles outside the city.

- I would not have been able to accept this job if I had not received a taxi.

Then it would have been another job more central, she says.

"Never had that situation"

When the applications for this year's summer job in the city of Borås were summed up, it could be stated that a record number lacked a driving license.

Something that SR Sjuhärad was the first to tell about.

- We have never had the situation we have this year.

But we must solve our mission and have elderly care and staff on site.

Then the idea of a taxi was raised, says HR manager Mario Golian.

The municipality does not yet know what the investment will cost.

The trip that Maryam makes costs SEK 677 one way.

The first taxi ride of his life

Maryam Hoseini could not afford to get a driver's license when she studied to be a nurse.

She usually goes by public transport or walks.

The first day at work was the first time she ever took a taxi.

- It was fun, but I was a little scared and it went fast, she says before she gets out of the car and opens the door to the nursing home and the evening shift.
