Hamas announced that Gaza is preparing for a strategic battle with Israel, while the Palestinian Authority for Resistance of the Wall and Settlement organized a "Challenge and Resilience" conference, south of Hebron in the West Bank.

During a speech at a ceremony organized by Hamas in the southern Lebanese city of Sidon, the head of the movement's political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, confirmed that Gaza was preparing for a strategic battle with Israel.

Haniyeh added that the battle of the "Sword of Jerusalem" that the Palestinian people and Gaza waged constituted a strategic shift in the course of the conflict with the Israeli occupation.

"Challenge and Endurance"

On the other hand, the "Masafer Yatta" area south of Hebron witnessed the "Challenge and Resilience" conference, with the participation of Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh and a number of his government ministers, in order to stand closely on the suffering of the area's residents who are forcibly displaced from their lands.

The occupation court issued a decision about a month ago to deport hundreds of citizens from 14 communities in "Masafer Yatta", under the pretext of turning them into training and shooting areas for the Israeli army.

In his speech during the conference, Muhammad Shtayyeh said that the conference is the real response to the occupation's measures and its attempts to forcibly displace the population.

Shtayyeh added that the financial siege is a political siege, and that the Palestinian people and their leadership will remain steadfast in the face of the occupation and its settlers.

The Palestinian prime minister considered the conference a message to US President Joe Biden, that there is no peace in the region without ending the occupation and giving the Palestinians their rights.
