Exemption of citizens of the country from entry visas to Britain from 2023

The UAE Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Mansour Abulhoul, announced that the UAE will be one of the first countries to be subject to the UK Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) program, and Emirati citizens will not need a visa to visit the UK as of 2023.

The UAE embassy in London said, through its account on the “Twitter” website, that “the UAE has been added to the UK’s list of eligible countries for the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) system, which has led to the removal of current visa restrictions, and as of 2023, Emirati citizens will no longer need visa to visit the United Kingdom.

All GCC countries will adopt the ETA scheme when it is rolled out, and this move will bring visa requirements into line with other UK partners such as the US and Canada, and more details about the ETA will be announced in due course.
