After several investigations, the police have chosen to reclassify the incident as general negligence instead of arson.

- The police believe that there is nothing to indicate that the fire was started.

We have searched with a dog and done a crime scene investigation and have not been able to find any flammable liquid or the like at the scene, says Lena Aslan who is the preliminary investigation leader.

Seized batteries

Early figures indicate that an electric bicycle may have caused the fire.

The police have seized batteries and sent them for analysis.

- We can not say for sure what caused the fire.

The batteries have been sent for analysis and we are waiting for the result.

That is where we are in the investigation now, says Lena Aslan.
