This will attract more nurses to the hospital in Fagersta

- We find it more difficult to recruit to our smaller units out in the county, both to the health centers and the hospitals.

There are many reasons behind it, one can be the opportunity to commute.

Now there are plans to run half-hour traffic between Västerås – Fagersta within a few years, I think that is the key, says Kenneth Östberg (S).

The managers here want to see better commuting opportunities from other places, such as Avesta, Gävle and Örebro.

Are they wrong?

- No, that's not what I say, they know their business best.

But if you look at commuting patterns, there are very few who travel to Fagersta from there.

- If I say this - my assessment is that the crucial issue is not the train traffic between Gävle – Örebro, but that in that case other efforts are required.
