“In Kakhovka, the car of Irina Makhneva, who, under the new administration, deals with issues of education and culture, was blown up.

The explosive device went off earlier, which saved Makhneva's life," the department said in a Telegram message.

Earlier it was reported about the attempt on the life of a member of the military-civilian administration in the Kherson region. 

The car, in which the head of the family, youth and sports department of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region Dmitry Savluchenko was, was blown up.

He died. 

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov called the attempt on Savluchenko an act of terrorism.
