In the past few days, the 12th Global Overseas Chinese Bookstore Chinese Book Exhibition has been held at Aihua School in Prague, Czech Republic and Fujian Overseas Chinese Bookstore in Czech Republic. Set off the "Chinese Tide", this is also the first sub-event held overseas for the 8th "Strait Readers Festival" in Fujian Province.

  The relevant person in charge of Fujian Publishing Foreign Trade Co., Ltd. introduced the event to a reporter from Chinanews.com on the 26th, saying that the event was jointly organized by the Czech Prague Aihua School and the Czech Fujian Chamber of Commerce, and the response was enthusiastic.

  At the opening event launched on the 19th, more than 40 reading enthusiasts from four countries including China, the Czech Republic, the United States, and South Korea came to the scene, and more than 20 reading enthusiasts participated in the reading festival through the ZOOM online conference.

During the event, interactive activities such as the reading of the Analects of Confucius and the quiz with prizes for famous sentences of the Analects of Confucius were also carried out, and the climax was repeated.

The first reading festival held by Aihua School in Prague, Czech Republic is the first overseas activity of the Straits Reader Festival.

  The Czech "Fujian Overseas Chinese Bookstore" has more than 6,000 Chinese books for everyone to read for free. At the same time, the Czech Prague Aihua School has also prepared 750 Chinese books, all of which are free of charge.

At the end of the event, nearly 400 Chinese books were donated.

  Zheng Ping, the principal of Prague Aihua School, said frankly that the original intention of holding the "Reading Festival", holding a book fair and giving away a large number of Chinese books for free is to better promote the splendid Chinese culture in the Czech Republic, in Europe and overseas, so that more people can Benefit from Chinese wisdom.

  The first reading festival of Aihua School in Prague is also the first overseas activity held by Fujian Printing and Trade Co., Ltd. in response to China's first national reading conference and the 8th Straits Reader's Festival of Straits Publishing and Distribution Group to promote Chinese excellent traditional culture to go abroad.
