Guest of the Grand Rendez-vous d'Europe 1/Cnews/Les Echos, the philosopher Alain Finkielkraut, returned to the breakthrough of the National Rally within the National Assembly.

For the latter, the arrival of 89 deputies from the far-right party is a sign of the concern of the French to preserve "historical continuity".

It's a first.

In the National Assembly, the National Rally has never been as powerful as since the last legislative elections.

The party, formerly led by Marine Le Pen, won 89 seats.
