A 12-year-old girl died during a horse show this Sunday morning at the Les Troubadours equestrian center in La Buisse (Isère).
As Grenoble prosecutor Eric Vaillant points out, “she was trampled by her horse after a fall”.
The Grenoble prosecutor's office, which confirms information from the
Dauphiné Libéré
, has opened an investigation to find the causes of death, in order to carry out all the necessary checks.
The investigation was entrusted to the gendarmerie company of Saint-Marcellin (Isère).
In cardio-respiratory arrest when help arrived, the young rider was taken care of by the firefighters and a team from Samu, then helicoptered in critical condition to the CHU Grenoble Alpes.
The victim died on arrival at the hospital.
A psychological cell was set up with the participants in this departmental horse riding competition, which included the young Iséroise.
