A 26-year-old woman was killed by several stab wounds in Narbonne, the prosecution announced on Sunday.
"An aggravated homicide investigation has been opened."
A police source also specifies that the ex-spouse, absent from the home of the young woman in the sub-prefecture of Aude, has since been sought.

The woman, seriously injured with several stab wounds to the arm and neck, was discovered at the foot of her building on Saturday shortly before midnight.
She died overnight, according to a police source.
The investigation was entrusted to the departmental security of Aude.
