At the ceremony, Peng Gang informed about the graduation of undergraduates and the conferring of bachelor's degrees.
After deliberation at the Tsinghua University Council, 3,445 undergraduates in 2022 were approved to graduate.
After deliberation and approval at the plenary meeting of the Academic Degree Evaluation Committee of Tsinghua University, it was decided to award 3,541 students with a bachelor's degree, 511 students with a second bachelor's degree, and 46 students with a minor bachelor's degree.
Qiu Yong, secretary of the school's party committee, read out the "Decision on Commending the Advanced Group, Outstanding Graduates and Excellent Graduates of the Graduate Class of Tsinghua University in 2022", and congratulated the group, students and all graduates of the commended class.
After discussion and approval at the Tsinghua University executive meeting, it was decided to award 10 classes with the title of "Advanced Group of Tsinghua University Graduation Classes", 73 students with the title of "Excellent Graduate of Tsinghua University", and 368 students with the title of "Excellent Graduate of Tsinghua University".
Wang Xiqin, President of Tsinghua University and Chairman of the Academic Degree Evaluation Committee of Tsinghua University, delivered a speech on the same day.
