NZZ: politician Martullo-Blocher commented on the consequences of European sanctions against Russia

The politician stated this in an interview with the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. 

“Instead of continuing to fuel the conflict, European presidents should realize their responsibility and recognize that they are dependent on Russian gas.

Europe should agree with (Russian President Vladimir. - RT ) Putin on stable gas supplies until at least the spring of 2023 and peace, ”she said. 

Martullo-Blocher believes that the issue of gas shortages will affect Europe even before the winter of 2022, despite the statement of a number of officials that the stock will last until 2023. 

The interlocutor of the newspaper also mentioned the sanctions of European countries against Russia.

She noted that they have a stronger influence on the countries that introduce them.

According to the Vice-President of the SNP, "the sacrifice that Europe is making is high, and the success is very small."

Earlier, the Minister of Economy of Switzerland, Guy Parmelin, in an interview with the Blick newspaper, said that the anti-Russian sanctions of Western countries did not achieve their goal.
