Moldova lifted the ban on the export of flour and wheat

“The Commission for Emergency Situations decided: to cancel paragraph 8 of Decree No. 9 of March 10 (export of wheat or wheat-rye flour from the Republic of Moldova is prohibited);

in paragraph 14 of Decree No. 2 of February 25, cancel the note under the letter “a” (ban on the export of wheat),” TASS quoted the document as saying.

In May, India imposed a ban on wheat exports.

Prior to this, it was reported that the Indian authorities revised the forecast for wheat production in 2021-2022, reducing it by 5.7%.

On May 19, Afghanistan suspended wheat exports.
