Johnson announced his intention to remain British Prime Minister until the 2030s

“I am actively thinking about a third term and what could happen next.

But I will appreciate it when the time comes,” Johnson told reporters after a trip to Rwanda. 

The next UK parliamentary elections are due to take place no later than 24 January 2025. 

On June 22, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced his intention to visit Rwanda, where the Commonwealth of Nations Heads of Government (CHOGM) 2022 meeting will take place.
