“We regret to inform you that one defender of the Donetsk People’s Republic died while performing his military duty in the struggle for independence,” the ministry said in a Telegram message.
It is also reported that three soldiers were injured.
Earlier, the Ukrainian military fired at the Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk, five shells of 152 mm caliber were fired.
