A '0-star hotel' has opened in Switzerland without walls or ceilings, and is a hot topic.

On the 24th local time, Reuters news agency reported that a 'zero-star hotel' was recently built in the village of Saion, in the Valais province in southern Switzerland.

According to reports, the hotel is equipped with a double bed, a night table and a nightstand, and dedicated staff are located nearby to provide customized services to guests.

However, there are no walls or ceilings, so privacy is impossible, and it is located next to a fast-moving road and a gas station, so you can't avoid the noise at night.

Despite the many inconveniences, the hotel costs $337 (about 440,000 won) per day including breakfast.

This quaint hotel is the work of twin Swiss installation artists, the Ricklein brothers, and is titled 'The Zero-Star Hotel'.

The brothers built this hotel to keep guests awake at night in their noisy roadside beds, contemplating global issues such as climate change, war, and more.

"This hotel is not for sleeping," Frank Riclin told Reuters.

"Now is not the time to sleep, it's time to act," said Patrick Ricklein.

This boulevard hotel is open from the 1st of next month to the 18th of September.

In addition to this, the Ricklein brothers' '0-star hotels' are installed in three other places, including the Alps and vineyards.
