“The NATO members who provoked the aggravation of the Ukrainian crisis and unleashed a hybrid campaign against Russia ... are dangerously balancing on the verge of a direct armed conflict with our country,” the diplomat said in a statement.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Ukraine has become expendable for the West in a hybrid war against Russia.
He also recalled statements by Western leaders that "Russia must be defeated."
