• The West Web Festival returns this year to the Festival des Vieilles Charrues after two years of pandemic.

  • Conferences from leaders of the digital world are expected to discuss the future of technology

  • Two days to take stock of the growth of the virtual over two years

Nothing can stop the evolution of the world of technology and digital, not even two years of Covid!

After two years of forced absence, the West Web Valley Festival is indeed returning this summer to the Festival des Vieilles Charrues on July 14 and 15, in order to "spotlight on the digital world during the summer period", explains its co-founder Sébastien Le Corfec.

The West Web Festival has more than 500 entries per day and brings together 35,000 spectators on Twitch, all passionate about the digital world.

With more than thirty speakers scheduled over the two days from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., this 2022 edition will put two heavyweights of the digital world on the front of the stage: Twitch and Waze, represented respectively by Mélissa Simoni (sales director France and Benelux) and Jérôme Marty (DG France).

Also announced are George Yates (Back Market), Lucie Basch (Too Good To Go), Julien Carmona (Crédit Mutuel Arkea)…

The festival will largely address “the impact of responsible digital, and also metaverse, crypto, NFT, in order to evangelize this sector a little”, adds Sébastien Le Corfec.

The 20 Mint project, a magazine entirely devoted to Web 3 created by 20 Minutes and piloted by NFT holders, will also be honored during a round table.

At the same time, the event is also an opportunity for young start-ups to make themselves known thanks to the "start-up springboard", scheduled between each conference, which allows young companies to speak for 5 minutes to present their project.

Without forgetting the most important, the Pass West Web Festival also gives access to the concerts of the Vieilles Charrues from 5 p.m., and as a VIP!

Festival-goers will therefore be able to directly benefit from the musical performances in the front row.

Like the West Web Valley Festival, big names in the music world will be present from July 14 to 17, including Stromae, Lulu Van Trapp on Thursday, Angèle, DJ Snake and Rilès on Friday.

The West Web Valley box office is still open, what better way to attend a tech conference, then enjoy tech concerts (or not).
