According to him, Russian chemical companies intend to remain reliable suppliers of high-quality products at competitive prices.

“We know that our fertilizers are in high demand by farmers in the United States,” Antonov said.

According to him, Western countries are also trying to convince the international community that sanctions do not apply to Russian agricultural exports.

“At the same time, they are taking steps that at least lead to a further rise in prices,” he said, noting that the population and businesses, including American ones, are suffering as a result.

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced Russia's readiness to supply energy, fertilizers and grain.
