Choi Seo-won (former Choi Soon-sil), who was serving a sentence of 18 years in prison for the National Nongdan case, criticized the appointment of Minister of Justice Han Dong-hoon in a letter from prison.

In a letter sent to his acquaintance on April 17, Choi said, "How can a vicious and vicious person in the special prosecutor's team become the head of the country's laws?" criticized it.

Choi said, "A candidate may be the best prosecutor in Korea, but he is a person who binds evidence to make a crime."

Pointing to another prosecutor who was in the special prosecutor's team at the time, he also insisted, "I put pressure on her that if she didn't confess everything she did to President Park Geun-hye, her three tribes would be destroyed."

Regarding another prosecutor in the special prosecutor's team, he claimed, "I exercised my right to remain silent due to a coercive investigation." He also wrote, "It is appalling that a candidate who is close to such prosecutors has been appointed to the position of Minister of Justice."

Choi said, "I think it will be engulfed in political strife and investigations rather than unity and harmony," said Choi, even after a minister who was a candidate at the time appointed the prosecutors to the personnel hearing preparation team.

Choi added, "President Yoon Seok-yeol visited former President Park's residence in Daegu for reconciliation.

Mr. Choi

Minister Han was in charge of the Samsung Group investigation under the then head of the special prosecutor's investigation team, Yoon Seok-yeol, in the special prosecutor's team of the Choi Soon-sil National Nongdan, which was launched in December 2016.
