It's a new day of mobilization in the United Kingdom this Thursday, June 23.
The railway employees walk out again.
One in five trains must run.
Strikes could multiply this summer, on the railways and in other sectors, in a context of unprecedented inflation for 40 years.
The government is planning a law to limit the impact of these strikes.

With this bill, employers could use temporary workers to replace strikers, and limit the impact of walkouts.
The government hopes for a rapid review by Parliament for entry into force "
in the coming weeks
".
According to a minister, it is a question of “
renouncing the laws of the 1970s to free companies, and prevent the unions from taking society and the economy hostage
”.
Eminently political announcement
The announcement of the project is eminently political.
The rail strike is rather unpopular with Britons, who are worried about a potential “
summer of discontent
”.
Several sectors (schools, hospitals, etc.) could also mobilize to demand wage increases and better working conditions.
This text will not change anything
Unions and the opposition strongly criticize the bill.
They consider it dangerous to replace highly qualified employees, in positions related to railway safety for example, by temporary workers.
And believe that the text will not change anything: in a context of full employment, companies are already struggling to recruit, even for attractive positions.
