The Ministry of Digital Development has developed a draft law on a system for tracking phishing sites

“In order to counteract criminal activity on the use of phishing sites, a draft law has been prepared ... providing for the right of state bodies, organizations and citizens, if a phishing resource is found in information and telecommunication networks, to send relevant information to the Ministry of Digital Transformation using a special system,” Shoitov explained.

He noted that the document will help block phishing resources as quickly as possible.

Pilot operation of the system has already been carried out.

Since January 1, 2022, 30,000 phishing sites have been detected, 9,000 have been blocked.
